For once every one seems to agree. Public opinion across the World is firmly against the war. 400,000 have marched in London; and over 200,000 gathered in Washington DC and across the States against attacks on Iraq. Here opinion polls show a majority stance against our government having any involvement in this war. read full story / add a comment

"It's all about oil." Those four words are often used to denounce the planned attack on Iraq. For many in the antiwar movement, the idea that the "Bushies" plan to invade the Gulf to get their greasy hands on more oil has become an article of faith, an unquestionable truth repeated like a mantra. But how true is it? read full story / add a comment

Though some people have already spoken to their Dail representatives about this issue before, there is a need for a more forceful effort this time. Thrilled and heartened to hear of the marriage of distinguished grey Anarchist Alan and gorgeous Mary, No fights at the wedding this time that I saw. But I do wonder. Nester Makhno used to take a dim view of his people getting splied to Mensheviks. Cut off their balls I'm told. What did the chief Bakhuninites have to say about it? And the Kautsky's of the CWI Peter Taaffe, (Sir) peter Haddon and Joe the Good -- had they not an opinion on this bizarre union? Anyway lots of congratualtions from all on Indymedia and lots of little Victor Serges. Warms your heart in these cold days to think that rue love can overcome all adversity!!!!!!!! read full story / add a comment
