I have heard that there is an "organisers" meeting on Mon. 27th.

Don't know where (upstairs in some pub?),
don't know exactly when (7.30 is probably a good guess though).

Can anyone enlighten me how some culchies could meet up with those organising 'nationally in dublin'?

Wow! Great to see a shinner post without immediate abuse but I'm sure it will come.

Great to see such organisation - It would be great to see Sinn Fein organising such meetings and initiating alliances on a national basis.

I am currently working 'culchie' sytle which is very neccessary but unfortunately it is virtually impossible if there is no known group/framework already in place. Sinn Fein, as far as I can tell, are in the best at organising at a grassroots level nationally.

To all those outside the pale - get on board! It just takes a few heads and you have a campaign going. Local radio and newspapers are surprisingly easy to access and stage a vigil/protest and you are sure to get a photo opp/article opp. Muc of the local media also has the benefit of not being foreign owned....at least not yet!

All those meetings were organised by the IAWM not SF. Of course it's good that SF are on board but in case anyone gets the wrong idea...
Similarly the IAWM is the unbrella group linking all the anti war parties and many individuals and and groups. It is organising anti war groups around the country. People should contact IAWM to get in touch.

"..the IAWM is the unbrella group linking all the anti war parties and many individuals and and groups. It is organising anti war groups around the country. People should contact IAWM to get in touch."

The IAWM is AN umbrella group etc. There are many other groups out there who are organising anti-war activity if you are not comfortable with the IAWM. The main point is to get involved with whichever group suits you best.
