No Blood For Oil. For once every one seems to agree. Public opinion across the World is firmly against the war. 400,000 have marched in London; and over 200,000 gathered in Washington DC and across the States against attacks on Iraq. Here opinion polls show a majority stance against our government having any involvement in this war. Yet its still going ahead. Nothing seems to affect the determination of Bush and Blair to make war. To find the best way to stop this war, we need to look at why its happening. After September 11th, Bush’s government, the most unpopular in American history, supported by less than a quarter of the electorate seized the chance to impose its agenda in the name of ‘fighting terrorism’. A tax cut that benefited the top 10% was forced through congress and legislation rolling back civil liberties introduced. There have been drastic increases in military budget. Anyone opposing these measures has been labelled ‘pro-terrorist.’ |

The young men on false passports with maps of London in their bags and cheap and easy to find equipment in their bedrooms arrested this week in France, Catalonia and London wished to fight a "holy war" against Europe and the USA. They had already told Europe and the USA that any attack on Iraq would be considered an attack on Islam.
ERHA, ECAHB, SWAHB, NAHB or EHSS.
are the authorities in Ireland who ought be supplying the Irish people with vaccines.
Or will it all just blow over?
Quiet agree is correct, but the media and the 'revolutionary parties' churches etc are strangely silent on the risks our asshole politicans are exposing their citizens to by flogging off our neutrality and shannon.
if one of the justifications for the 'war on terror' remains the idea of imminent terrorist attacks on the western free world and supposed democracies, then by appealing for an end to the build up to war by using the same argument as a justifaction of an antiwar stance, namely, that we dont want to risk the wrath of a terrorist attack, something like the crap Labour and the Greens have been peddling, labour in particular doesnt seem to have a prolem with the war but more so with the legislative odditiy, that is war plans in shannon, a breech of the constituion is there concern and they seek to remedy it, not war.
Lets be clear, the war on terror is a fallacy, 'terror' is just a word and you cant have a war on a concept, thats what bush and blair are doing, 'terror' is a justifaction and albeit a cliched statement, we need to recognise who the real terrorists are.
