offsite link David Lammy?s Vision is So Awful It Gives Me Hope That Something Has Got to Give Sat Jan 18, 2025 11:00 | Dr David McGrogan
Foreign Secretary David Lammy set out "the future of the U.K.'s foreign policy" this week. It's an abysmal vision, says Dr. David McGrogan, but it gives hope that the edifice of 'progressive realism' will soon collapse.

? After Elon Musk's disproportionate donation to support Reform UK (United Kingdom), his interventions in favor of the AfD (Germany), the declarations for the annexation of Greenland, one could legitimately wonder what the team of re-elected President Donald Trump had in store for France. ? American journalist Candace Owens received a legal letter from French president Emmanuel Macron's lawyers in 2024 explicitly asking her not to spread "rumors about his private life". Their client seemed (?)

Re-elected President Donald Trump has mentioned a possible annexation of the Panama Canal, Canada and Greenland. A crazy project that already appeared on a map, imagined in 1941 by a follower of the technocratic movement. However, it was the French branch of this movement that invented the transhumanism dear to Elon Musk, whose grandfather was responsible for the Canadian branch of the technocratic movement.

Ukraine has not renewed its gas contract with Russia. It therefore expired on 1 January. Kyiv served as a gateway for Russian gas to Moldova, Romania, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia, then Austria and Italy. However, illegitimate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not want to renew the agreement until the conflict with Russia was resolved. Gazprom, which estimates its unpaid bills at $709 million, had announced that it would cut off gas supplies to Moldova. The latter, which disputes (?)

It is a race against time that the Pentagon has started before President Donald Trump takes office. After destroying Iraq, Libya, Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, it is launching its men against Yemen. Don't mistake appearances for reality: officially, Israel is responding to the bombings of Ansar Allah and the United States is responding to attacks on Western ships. In reality, the destruction of Yemen is only one step in that of all the political institutions of the broader Middle East. Don't believe what you are told about the inevitability of the clash of civilizations, all this is just a set-up to make you accept the unacceptable.

? The Kurdish mercenaries of the PKK/YPG who administer north-east Syria for the benefit of the US occupation hoisted the flag of the new regime on their buildings on 12 December in order to demonstrate the unity of the country. ? Turkish troops are massing on the border, opposite Ain al-Arab (Kobane). ? All observers agree that, without the military support of the United States, the Kurdish mercenaries will not last long in the face of a Turkish offensive. ? After the ANS/T?rkiye (?)

53 delegations voted against this resolution and 10 countries abstained. NATO and the EU cited three reasons: ? Ukraine and, to a lesser extent, the Baltic countries have erected monuments to the glory of Nazism and associated forces. ? Ukraine has named streets, schools and other sites after Nazi and associated soldiers. ? Some countries in Central and Eastern Europe have destroyed monuments to the glory of anti-fascist forces. Officially, NATO and the EU consider that Russia is lying when it speaks of the need to denazify Ukraine. They therefore claim that the Bandera militants in power in Kyiv are mere ?nationalists?, just as the jihadists in power in Damascus are nothing more than ?enlightened Islamists?.

With surprising aplomb, the international press assures us that we are not witnessing a military change of regime in Syria, but a revolution overthrowing the Syrian Arab Republic. The presence of the Turkish army and US special forces is hidden from us. We are bombarded with propaganda that has been denied several times about the crimes attributed to ?Bashar?. Cannibal throat-cutters are transformed into respectable revolutionaries. Once again, the international press is consciously lying to us.
