A garda has been arrested and is being questioned in Drogheda following the seizure of over €260,000 worth of drugs in the town.

He is stationed in north Dublin, and has been suspended from duty.

The 'one day' collective today came public about their two week occupation of the old school of music on Wellington rd, Cork city, with a very positive article in Inside Cork, a local free paper, the collective are a group of artists wanting to make this year into a true capital of culture not just a culture of capital, they are a group of painters, sculptors, musicians, photographers, community artists, wood and metal workers, dreamers and schemers.

Well I decided to call Ryanair to make a complaint about the way they were insulting Che Geuvara by putting berties face on him. I rang their head office in Dublin. It was Sunday just gone. There was a message recorded which I listened to. It gave me a number to call to deal with a human. I'll put the exact numbers here later. I was informed this would cost 1.75 in euro from ROI or 1 pound from the UK to call. U2 have announced their second concert in Ireland for this summer. They are doing this through their promoter, MCD. (MCD also promoted the elevation tour) It's interesting that they name their album "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb", and then use MCD, which is owned by Clear Channel. Clear Channel is closely aligned to the Bush administration, and support for the Iraq war exists throughout many of its radio stations in the United States.
