Left-wing activists in Britain are less likely to work with their political opponents and more likely to think that those who think differently have been misled, a study has found. Leftists are intolerant? Who knew.

Ryanair.....headoffice no. 01 8121212
telebot woman says, "contact our reservation centre, Ryanair direct in Ireland on 0818 303030 calls cost etc.. etc.. " as eeekk pointed out I reached Milan
Called Eircom today around noon......response
E- that's an Irish number 0818 charged at national call rates 8.17c p/m, etc....
Me- are you sure it's not 1.75 euros?
E- no normal national call rates
Me- can you reach a connection outside of ireland by calling that no.?
E- Not that i'm aware of.... hang on I'll have to ask someone about this......
five mins later
E- A yeah that might be possible, I have to check these questions out further can I take your name and number and get back to you?
Me- sure
As of yet ........no word from my friends in Eircom, but my telebot friend in Ryanair has changed her tune as of yesterday, she still gives out the 0818 no. but the fact that it costs 1.75E has been erased from the message, also erased was the price of calls from Britain.
I wonder are Ryanair charging national call rates to fly to Milan?
What is the web addy of the website ryanair are trying to shut down because it is letting people air complaints? Maybe they'll listen to me about che etc.
.
and their readership is a bit small. If anyone ends up on the rajio or anything late at night give out the addy won't you.
First off get a life. Don't you have anything better to do with your time? Second call divert has been around a long time. A number based in an exchange/office can be diverted to anywhere in the world. You don't need eircom to tell you this, it's common knowledge. Now get off your ass and take a coourse in basic telecommuntication principles or something.
Perhaps indymedia needs a moderator. can't believe that I read this. I thought there was going to be a point at the end. Who gives a rashers where the call centre is? At least its not bangalore.
when in fact it is in milan.
They are hiding the fact that they are outsourcing work and covering this up
while simultaneously portraying themselves as brave employment makers fighting against government regulation in Ireland.
Can't have it both ways.
Hey eeek, I think ryanair said that if the govt. were to get the finger out and build the 2nd terminal in dublin - contracted to ryanair of course, then it would increase employment.
Who knows, but ryanair may well be thinking of moving their support callcentre to their new building in dublin airport in this case, and then what they are saying would be true. hey why wouldn't they? the rent would surely be cheaper.
i agree with the others here - with all the shit going on in the world - can't you find something else to put your energies into?
"i agree with the others here - with all the shit going on in the world - can't you find something else to put your energies into?"
With all the shit going on in the world wtf did you bother answering him?
i had the wrost experience in my life with ryanair.
I did travel so often with this company that they must to be greatful when you inform about the mistakes they have done, to help to improve the service.
i would like to complaint with RyanAir Company, but there is not an head-office address or email address.
could you please help me.
your faithfully
Monica
Better off going to complain to THE PHOENIX mag,you know that tatty little mag that publishes any old tat that is rang in to them.
Their editor is Patrick Prenderville and they were the first to publish the Bertie /Che pic.You really have alot to bother you in life havent you?
Anyway Ryanair gets you there [more or less] in and around Europe for a non ripoff price, unlike over unionised, inefficent semistate kept alive by taxpayers money ,not giving you much else either ,airlines like Aer Lingus.
