"yesterday, it emerged that Tanaiste Mary Harney dismissed concerns about Gama's employment standards when she was minister for enterprise in 2003.

A g 8 mobilising network was set up from the Making poverty history –making war history meeting last week in the ATGWU hall. The network is focused on mobilising for the protests at the g8 summit in Scotland (see below some of the actions) and other related events such as the Make Poverty History rally in Ireland. We hope to organise public meetings, fundraisers, video showings etc to raise awareness of the g8 and issues around poverty, war and corporate greed.
