30 protestors have been blockading a bin truck in south Finglas for the last while. This is the biggest turnout so far in the Finglas area and is in one of the strongest area for the campaign there. The blockade is completely peaceful and non-confrontational. The council official arrived and told the protestors that he would have to call the police. Both yesterday and today, residents in a number of housing estates in the Dundrum and Ballinteer area came out to greet the bin men and talk with them to ensure all bins were collected.
