On 1 October 2007, the Weston Gardens Residents' Association, of which I am Cathaoirleach, sent a letter by registered post to Brendan Kenny (CEO Limerick Regeneration Agencies). When Mr. Kenny did not respond after 3 weeks, we decided to go public. On 24 October 2007, we bought a full page in the Limerick Leader and published a shortened version . I cam across this tale whilst having coffee in leafy D4, in the Baggot Street area and this tied in with something that I had heard a few weeks ago in that Palace of Epicurian Delights the Embassy Grill in Ballsbridge.
