There's a medical workshop in the Teachers Club (Teachers Club:36 Parnell Square Upper) this friday from 2 till 4. The Teachers Club is on the west side of Parnell Sq.

There are bust cards and legal briefings availible in the media centre (as well as sign up sheets!) and we'll be giving them out on the various actions as well.

The legal group are meeting anyone who wants to volunteer as a legal observer in the media centre at 4, we'll move off then and have our meeting elsewhere.

The Catholic Worker Movement founded by French soapbox philospher Peter Maurin and New Yorker journalist activist Dorothy Day in NYC in 1933. A radical christian-anarchist-pacifist movement it compromises of approx. 90 autonomous communities in North America, a dozen in Canada, a couple in Mexico and also communites in Brisbane/OZ, Auckland & Christchurch/Aotearoa, Glasgow, London, Oxford, Amsterdam, Dortmund, Hamburg & Dublin.

Of the 3 people arrested Tuesday night and remanded, 1 is in the Joy and the other 2 have been transferred to Clover Hill.

At a DGN media group meeting last night we agreed (since nothing has been suggested so far) to name Mountjoy Square (NOT the Indymedia Centre) as a gathering point in case of real crisis.

Basically if everything goes pear-shaped people will need somewhere to go that is familiar, not easy to seal off, and not too isolated. The Square itself can of course be closed, but the streets are wide and there is little traffic.
