The Irish Anti-War Movement condemns the arrival of the USS La Salle,
from the US Sixth Fleet into Irish waters. The ship is stationed in
Alexandria Basin on a supposedly "goodwill visit" and claims that its
area of responsibility includes the North Atlantic.

The IAWM further notes that the missile system on the USS La Salle is capable
of firing 3,000 uranium bullets per minute. Depleted uranium weaponry

were ripped, power disconnected, the infrastructure was torn up into shreds, and even the “HELP” appeal was met by firings from the Israeli soldiers.

Anti-War Ireland, a national alliance of anti-war groups, held its most recent organising meeting in the Teachers' Club, Parnell Square, Dublin, between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday, May 15th.
