At 8pm in Wynn's Hotel on Tuesday, June 3rd, Kathy Kelly, co-founder of sanctions-busting group Voices in the Wilderness will introduce the Pitstop Ploughshares five: Ciaron O'Reilly, Karen Fallon, Damien Moran, Deirdre Clancy and Nuin Dunlop. Music will be provided by Liam O'Maonlai of the Hothouse Flowers. Other speakers include Iain Attack and Caoimhe Butterly. Kathy Kelly is a co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness, the first U.S. grassroots organization to bring activists into Iraq to witness the effect of sanctions, to bring food and medicine to the people of Iraq and to educate the public upon their return. Her fierce dedication to peace has put her in the line of fire in hot spots throughout the world during the past two decades, and her stubborn desire to make a point cost her nine months in prison in 1988. If you are genuine in your real sentiment, you probably should not be using a computer, using a cell phone or if you get a little sick or maybe if have a life threatening desease you might be a hypocrite and use an Israeli developed drug. The two anti-war activists who were arrested on Monday 7th of April protesting against the Bush&Blair visit in Hillsborough that day had their second court appearance this morning. As the proscecution did not have their evidence ready the trial has been adjourned to the 30th of June.
