Any electrician knows that Lego bricks are genderless, not 'heteronormative', because each can 'mate' with any other. Perhaps Science Museum staff should study to be electricians and actually make themselves useful.

Any parent can currently withdraw their child from school if they're unhappy. Labour's Schools Bill ends that right for many, giving local authorities a veto. That's why all parents should protest against this state power grab.

Here's some more photos from our weekly stall raising funds and awareness for Mary Kelly's retrial.
We've been getting a great response from people on the streets of Galway. With her re-trial set for June 15th, it's even more crucial now that people get behind this case.

This woman was brave enough to put her freedom on the line in order to challenge Shannon's usage by an aggressive foreign military presence. Now the people of Ireland should be out supporting her.
So write to the papers, phone up the radio, print leaflets off the webpage and hand them out, donate/raise funds...whatever you can think of. This case will have reprecussions for us all.

As serious nonviolent resistance grows to the US/UK war on Iraq, brothers and sisters find themselves before the courts and in custody.

A simple letter or a postcard can make all the difference to a sense of solidarity, morale, a sends a signal to jail/brig authorities that our friends are not alone etc.

**Consider sending a letter or postcard to a military resister or anti-war prisoner listed below.

Here in Ireland, Mary Kelly goes to trial on June 15th. in Kilrush, Co. Clare.

Anti-War activists show their support for Mary Kelly who is shortly facing re-trial on charges resulting from her disarming of an American Warplane en-route to Iraq.
She did nothing more than her civic duty under the terms of the Nurenberg war crimes tribunal that states and protect the Irish constitution.

If convicted, she faces up to ten years in Jail. ... read full story / add a comment
