Irish cement multinational, Cement Roadstone Holdings (CRH) has a 25% share( with an option to buy 25% more) in Mashav, the holding company of Neshev Cement Israel's sole cement producer. Mashav "runs two dry process production lines at its main facility in Ramla and a single semi-dry process plant at Har Tuv, which supplies cement throughout Israel, the West Bank and Gaza". CRH's former chairman Des Traynor was the central figure in the Ansbacher scandal, and more recently the company has been implicated in illegal dumping in Wicklow and has had a number of legal actions taken against it in the US in relation to asbestos. http://www.crh.ie/ (see 2001 Annual report page 8-9) http://www.onbusiness.ie/2001/0810/crh.html ... read full story / add a comment
