As we come into another Fox and Stag hunting season, I can't help but think back to the last season and wonder if the Board of Education have included Bloodsports in the school curriculum. I have regularly witnessed many children participating in hunts throughout the country, even though it was clearly not a public or a school holiday. Surely it would be more beneficial to a child's intellectual well-being to follow the same educational system that a normal well-adjusted child would follow in order to become a normal upstanding member of society in later life, rather than turning into the violent blood junkies that certain members of society have become? ... read full story / add a comment

We held a vigil for the dead at Shannon Airport on 31st October 04. This was promptly ignored or ridiculed by the mainstream media. We expected as much, water off a duck's back etc. However, I have taken exception to the misrepresentation of the purpose of our vigil by one periodical, The Limerick Leader. With up to 3 racist attacks carried out a day in northern ireland, the ARN had organised a rally to highlight the probelm. Some years ago, when I worked in a Swedish multinational, it issued a communication from HQ which read: 'Mr. X has asked to be relieved of his position as President of Y Division (the biggest in the group)..We wish Mr. X well in his future career.' Mr. X of course go a pay-off to keep his trap shut and agree to a 2 yr non-compete clause.
