I was just wondering why it takes the IMC collective so long to update the frontpage of the site. I would imagine new stories could put put up in minutes and each doesn't exactly have to be massive. The IMF and World Bank have finally acknowledged that the Heavily Indebted Poor Country initiative, which promised an end to the debt crisis is failing. Debt is on the agenda at the G8 Heads of State meeting in Kananakis, Cananda, June 26-27th. The Gardai as part of their ongoing nightmare in dealing with RTS aftermath yesterday used a search warrant to secure a copy of footage shot by an RTE interactive crew at RTS. This is seperate footage from the Indymedia Footage supplied to the news programmes and as far as I know from having observed what the crew filmed on the day is a pretty complete record of events from Burgh Quay onwards. read full story / add a comment

I mentioned that at least one person had been told that as they were not the only person visible in the relavent frames, that the footage could not be made available.
