After attacks in North Belfast on persons from the minority ethnic community an immediate local response in the form of a picket was called. This later became a rally given the growing local support. Thousands of drugs passed safe in animals have been withdrawn or banned due to their effect on human health. 95% of drugs passed by animal tests are immediately disgarded as useless or dangerous to humans. As we come into another Fox and Stag hunting season, I can't help but think back to the last season and wonder if the Board of Education have included Bloodsports in the school curriculum. I have regularly witnessed many children participating in hunts throughout the country, even though it was clearly not a public or a school holiday. Surely it would be more beneficial to a child's intellectual well-being to follow the same educational system that a normal well-adjusted child would follow in order to become a normal upstanding member of society in later life, rather than turning into the violent blood junkies that certain members of society have become? read full story / add a comment

Last nights racist assault in Lurgan of three Latvians and Mondays attack at Fortwilliam / Skegoniel should not be tolerated. We are seeing attacks happening now almost on a daily basis. People are E-Mailing us as to a local response

An anti-racism rally has been organised tonight to show support and solidarity to the victims of the North Belfast incident and to show the perpetrators that this will not be tolerated. The rally has been organised for 7.30pm at the Fortwilliam shops on the Antrim Road. Please circulate widely amongst local networks and join us to stand firm, should! er to shoulder against such attacks, and in solidarity with the victims of them. We held a vigil for the dead at Shannon Airport on 31st October 04. This was promptly ignored or ridiculed by the mainstream media. We expected as much, water off a duck's back etc. However, I have taken exception to the misrepresentation of the purpose of our vigil by one periodical, The Limerick Leader.
