an important root of Reclaim the Streets! was free parties. These phenomona helped bring together oung people regardless of class background in a communal social / tribal activity. They found themselves subject to criminalisation issues and health issues. Conflict will never be resolved through military force and talking of peace has no lasting value. You can have a thousand peace conferences and the impact won't last long.
