Blockade of Shannon Airport to protest against the continued refuelling of US warplanes. Almost 100,000 American troops have passed through Shannon since the beginning of this year - 10,000 in September alone!

This protest will be about people taking action and refusing to accept the integration of an Irish civilian airport into the US war machine. Be there!

At a press conference in New York's plush Plaza hotel, David Lynch launched a $1 billion fundraising campaign to build 100 'peace palaces' across America, part of a plan for 3,000 buildings across the globe, one in each major city. Inside the palaces up to 300 devotees will spend their time meditating and 'yogic flying', which practitioners say is a form of levitation. A new statue of the famous 1798 –1803 United Irishman and rebel leader Michael Dwyer will be unveiled in the Glen of Imaal on Sunday 14th December.
