I have just been informed, through a very reliable security source in Shannon Airport, that tomorrow afternoon, Colin Powell will be touching down in Shannon for a few hours (refueling etc). Colombian society is today united in horror at the mass slaying of ten FARC kidnap victims. Two of these were prominent politicians who had spent a year in FARC dungeons, having been kidnapped while leading a peace march ! The rest were soldiers (no Geneva Convention for the FARC !).
