The Garda Ombudsman has announced that it will begin an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the arrest of Terence Wheelock and his eventual death following injuries sustained while in custody at Store Street Garda station in June. Last weekend, CELT - the Centre for Environmental Living and
Training - held their annual summer gathering called the
weekend in the woods in Bealkelly woods in County Clare.

CELT, a registered charity, are based in Scariff and have among
their objectives increasing Environmental awareness, Nature
Conservation and Keeping alive Traditional Countryside Skills
and Crafts.
