Fallout Filter Method To make a fallout filter, punch holes in the bottom of a large bucket, and put a layer of gravel in the bucket about 1 1/2 inches high. Cover the gravel with a towel cut in a circle slightly larger than the bucket. Cover towel with soil and place the filter over a large container. Pour contaminated water through. Then, disinfect the filtered water using one of the methods described previously. Change the soil in your filter after every 50 quarts of water. read full story / add a comment

A World Airways DC-10 plane carrying US military cargo to Kuwait was grounded Thursday, 14th February at Shannon and is still there. The cargo jet was scheduled to make a refuelling stop at Shannon anyway but had to make an emergency landing. Officially the department of foreign affairs must be asked for permission before someone can fly here with weapons aboard. Today they said that they still haven't received any such request regarding this flight. What could they be transporting to Kuwait? How can we find out? read full story / add a comment
