When I write a screenplay, I start out with an agenda. I decide who my hero is first and who is the villain. Then I fashion scenes to build my dramatic case and make it believable. That is, I believe, exactly what occurred with regard to at least two reporters, Sheila MacVicar of CNN and Tom Miller of the Los Angeles Times, on Tuesday, April 16 in the Jenin refugee camp. read full story / add a comment

Sorry for being a bit late with this news, been away from a computer for a few days. Galways People and Planet event went off without the brutality of the cops thank x. A sunny day brought large crowds to Eyre Square to hear speakers on local, national and International events, to hear music, see a fairy festival and generally enjoy a (late) celebration of May Day. Many young people there. Thanks to everyone that got involved. Thoughts go to all the victims of the cops and good luck with the demo tonight. jc SWP Galway read full story / add a comment

Credibility of Garda in Question Garda Donal Corcoran of Mountjoy station (now on desk duty in Fitzbibbon Station) he is the face of Police Brutality in Ireland, but he was not the only one. many officers are pictured randomley battoning portersers on and around the head. When the Police are crimanals they must be treated like everybody else and arrested and locked up., otherwise we can not claim to live in a democracy read full story / add a comment |
