About 110 Palestinians were wounded in the four-hour raid, including 25 who were in critical condition, doctors said. Most suffered shrapnel wounds in the head, chest and abdomen. The dead ranged in age from 14 to 52. Later, Israeli troops fired machine guns and assault rifles at a Khan Younis hospital where most of the wounded were taken, injuring four more people. Palestinians denounced the Israeli strike, the deadliest since July, as a massacre and called for international protection. WP NO TO NICE 2 Why the Workers' Party says No to the Treaty of Nice BACKGROUND AND CONTEXT On 7th June 2001, the Irish people will be asked to make an important decision on the future of this country by referendum. That decision will affect the life of each and every citizen . It could drag Irish soldiers into wars started and sponsored by powerful nations happy to use the smaller countries as their pawns. Why is the Government holding a referendum? Why the cloak of secrecy in what should ... read full story / add a comment

The Millennium marks over 2,000 years of European Imperialism, the ideological source of which was the Roman adaptation of Christianity.
