 10 Reasons to Hate Bitchy Comments on Indymedia 1 Their content does not to explain political actions but just puts themselves on the "right" side. 2 In order to do so, they have to prove that you REALLY hate the Romans, and show awareness of obscure events in left-wing history and only a passing reference to current events. 3 They believe in the One True Holy and Undivided Ideology. 4 They claim to be exclusively able to represent the entire Working Class. 5 They refer to murdered civilian adults and children as Zionazis. 6 They believe that anybody who belongs to any organisation is automatically supportive of, and responsible for everything bad done by that organisation. 7 They think that bitchy comments about other groups constitute political debate. 8 A lot of them are made by genuinely decent people who feel the need, however, for macho posturing and spiteful crap on the Net. 9 They are made by people who could otherwise be enjoying their lives or organising something political. 10 They invite similar comments in response, thereby lowering the standard of what is otherwise an excellent news site. Oh... and a bonus one... 11 They create more work for the Indymedia Editorial - Sorry I just had to get it off my chest. |

I've noticed that over the past few weeks there has been the 'Hate Series' of postings. It started off with Reasons to hate the SWP, then it was Sinn Fein, the Sparts, the Labour Party....
Whoever is doing this should grow up and get a life. Indymedia is for news not for people getting a sick laugh out of initiating polemics and rants against other groups.
Maybe we should have two 'newswires', one for news, and one for discussion.
And you people refer to murdered palestinian adults and children as "terrorists".
OK the real reason you want this 'hate' series to end is because they have not done the socialist party yet. And I'm sure its on its way!!
