The two anti-war activists who were arrested on Monday 7th of April protesting against the Bush&Blair visit in Hillsborough that day had their second court appearance this morning. As the proscecution did not have their evidence ready the trial has been adjourned to the 30th of June. FOYLE ETHICAL INVESTMENT CAMPAIGN: THE WAR IS STILL ONGOING Caoimhe Butterly, Irish Peace Activist, International Solidarity Movement will speak in Derry this week at the invitation of FEIC (Foyle Ethical Investment Campaign). She will talk about her experiences in Palestine, where she was shot by the Israeli Army and more recently in Iraq where she witnessed first hand the effect of the Blair/Bush war, and about the anti G8 protests in evian from where she will have just returned. The meeting, which is open to the public will take place on Wed June 4th at 8.30pm in Central Library, Foyle Street. All are welcome. FEIC's monthly vigil against the arms trade and Raytheon, the world's largest missile manufacturer, also takes place this week, on Saturday 8th June, at the usual time and place - Raytheon, Branch Road, Derry@5pm.
