This is not my poem but I am printing it here for the Lady who is now in charge at the Irish Times. The lady who commented recently that Anti-Capitalist Activists are ignored by the ‘mainstream’ and that this is done at the ‘peril’ of the mainstream. This is the lady who employs Paddy Agnew as an Italian Correspondent. Paddy ignores the descent of Italian Political life into a form of soft totalitarianism. Paddy consistently repeats the bullshit about Genoa propagated by Berlusconi over a year ago. The Irish Times (suddenly concerned at the appearance of a Million people in Florence) prints an editorial that shows how little they know or care about the ground that is shifting under their feet. Lip service only. Rely on the Guardian for report on Florence. Seattle happened in 2000 according to Geraldine K last week.
