Following on from the terrific demonstration last saturday, there was a large attendance at an organising of the Mid-West Anti-War Group MAMA. A decision was made to organise and support a number of important anti-war events over the coming 3 weeks. Buses are being organised to Dublin for Feb. 15th and street stalls will be held in the intervening period. On going support for the Shannon Peace camp was discussed as well as involvement in the various activities being organised around the camp. It was decided to organise a public meeting in Limerick next week to try and facilitate those from the mid-west who want to get involved in the anti-war campaign. The meeting will take place in Halle Ide, Thomas Street, at 7.30pm on Wednesday next January 29th. A fund raising table quiz will be held in the white house next monday night at 8pm.
