Abu Dhabi, Alittihad Daily, 3/26/2003 -- The UAE leading semi-official daily newspaper, Alittihad, reported today that a US government delegation has arrived in Amman, Jordan, yesterday in its way to Baghdad for negotiations with the Iraqi government about an immediate ceasefire. On the 19th of March 2003, as American and English troops prepared an offensive on Iraq, a banner was put up across  a railway bridge on the North Strand Road.
