Shame the NGO rep only got to speak last, I've no interest in hearing politicans on an anti-war event, they should keep their energy for the Dail, which going by it's present state would be of more benefit to the Ireland by being burnt to the ground. ... read full story / add a comment

Over three years have passed since the three-day killing spree in the village of El-Kosheh that left 21 Christians murdered, 33 Christians wounded, and 260 Christian homes and businesses destroyed. In a blatant disregard for justice, Egypt’s courts today acquitted 93 of the 96 defendants. The court’s verdict is a grave disappointment for Egypt’s Christian community who remain exasperated by several failed attempts to ensure justice and equity ... read full story / add a comment

this is a mailing about a stay in limerick prison where i briefly met karen fallon. A military spokesman has confirmed the use of cluster bombs, where a large bomb container scatters hundreds of bomblets over a wide area. The bomblets explode shredding anyone in a radius of hundreds of meters with deadly shrapnel. According to the Geneva Convention, any airline that is involved in transporting military equipment or troops is a legitimate target in wartime. This includes individual flights that are not carrying anything dodgy, airline offices, warehouses, etc. NATO used this to justify some of the bombings it carried out in Serbia and Kosovo in 1999. Check out this website for a list of all airlines involved and more legal background. ... read full story / add a comment
