On Friday 26th, Ógra Shinn Féin sent a delegation across to London to take part in the 8th Annual Inter-Isles Forum.

This years Forum theme was on Faith and State. Ógra’s discussion document, which proposed the complete separation between Faith and State, was the view shared by a majority of the other parties present.

Although the theme of the weekend was on Faith and State, there was a wide range of discussion outside of the main events. Topics ranging from alternate fuel sources, to the break up of the Union and everything in between were brought up at different points.

We refer to the risk to young schoolchildren and adults that occurred today in Co Meath as covered by the Joe Duffy Show (Liveline) today . The major incident occurred when a Stag ran riot into a school yard whilst being chased by houndsand huntsmen belonging to the Ward Union Hunt Club.

‘ This animal later dropped dead from the stress and injuries sustained in the days hunting’.according to accounts on the programme.’

At our meeting today, the members of the Glasgow branch of the Republican Prisoners’ Action Group agreed unanimously to support the repatriation to the Free State of Noel Maguire who is the only remaining Irish political prisoner still incarcerated in an English jail. seventy-two other crimes while colluding with police in N. Ireland.
This occurred with the knowledge and support of the Police command
at the highest level. These are the conclusions of the N. Ireland Police
Ombudsman’s (Nuala O'Loan) report publicly released today regarding
the actions of one loyalist unit between 1991 and 2003.
