Last October all people knew was that the FBI had physically seized an Indymedia server from a company called Rackspace in London. About 20 Indymedias were affected, some more than others. Rackspace said they had a gagging order placed on them. UK and US security forces refused to comment. On August 1st this year, thanks to a court case they took in a federal court in Texas, the US-based Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) received newly unsealed documents relating to the seizures. Despite this, some serious questions remain. No mention of a gagging order for example.
