The Los Angeles Times supposedly published a front-page photograph showing a UK soldier directing civilians to sit. A sharp-eyed reader spotted some aberrations in the photograph and the URL above appears to show that The LA Times has published an editorial retraction of the photo after contacting the photographer who has admitted compositing the photo from two others. read full story / add a comment

Unfortunately i do not have great details on this just caught the end on the radio but i did hear him say that the Attack on Iraq is NOT a pre-emptive strike. In the papers 31 March By Sylvia Leatham Iona, SkillSoft (NASDAQ: SKIL - news) , ParthusCeva (NASDAQ: PCVA - news) face government questions on software supplied to US military The Irish Independent reports that SkillSoft, Iona Technologies (Dublin: IONA.I - news) and ParthusCeva have each received letters from the government seeking clarification as to which export licences they are using to supply software to the US military. Companies are required by law to have military or "dual use" licences from the government for the supply of military products.
