Anyone really believe that conditions are 'improving' in Iraq? The US and the UK appear to be growing weary of the expense and difficulty of war and noises off from the msm are that the job is done and other fatuous nonsense of that sort. Following a successful landing in Gaza on 23 August 2008 and an unsuccessful venture in September, the Free Gaza Movement is sailing again tomorrow, 28 October 2008, to break the blockade of Gaza and deliver food and medicines to the people. Monday morning will see massive nonviolent direct action taking place at Adermaston - Britain's nuclear weapons factory. Friends from Catholic Worker and Plowshares will be joining hundreds of others in an attempt to nonviolently shut down Aldermaston. We will try to incorporate solidaritywith this direct action into this week's Monday GPO anti-war vigil Background on Monday's Aldermaston blockade see http://blockawe.blogspot.com and http://www.tridentploughshares.org US/UK went to war in Iraq to dismantle WMD...meanwhile Aldermaston continues to produce WMD.
