After our meeting last night Dublin Shell to Sea are appealing for local groups in Dublin and else where to again picket Satoil this Friday.

We appreciate that a lot of people may be "blockaded out" and that it is the long week end - but still we think it would be good to keep up the pressure were possible and in solidarity with Belfast picket.

Other events planned are a mass picket on Shell Donny brook Wednesday August 3rd and a mass depot picket in about 2 weeks.

The Dublin City North Branch of the INTO has passed a motion endorsing the call by outgoing union president, Austin Corcoran, that all schools become safe places for all children -to be given the status of embassies. It is hoped that more branches within the union will take up this issue and that by next year's annual congress a campaign will be launched in the union to make this a reality. read full story / add a comment

Therefore there is no ongoing need for the injunction and no need to keep anyone in jail read full story / add a comment
