Seven Gardai are to face criminal charges in connection with last May's attack on Reclaim the Streets protestors on Dublin's Dame Street. The seven officers, who are all facing assault charges, are serving members in the Dublin Metropolitan District. Tribune Newspapers Plc confirmed today that Matt Cooper has resigned as editor of the Sunday Tribune. Matt leaves to become full time presenter of the popular current affairs show "The Last word" on Today FM from January 1 next.
