We are printing 20,000 leaflets for the Cork march on the 8th March but the photo that we had was too low a resolution for printing. Apparently we need one of 300psi or higher quality. read full story / add a comment

As someone who works in the internet industry, this is something that scares the hell out of me - but it should scare the hell out of EVERYONE. The Minister for Justice, and as a result, the government, are planning legislation to store and retain all telecommunications data for THREE YEARS! There are NO INDUSTRY MEMBERS BEING CONSULTED that I can see, the Data Protection Commissioner seems to have been EXCLUDED FROM ANY CONSULTATION, basically, even the US and the UK have disagreed with what McDowell is proposing. NO CROSS PARTY PARLIAMENTARY GROUP are involved in this, no nothing. This isn't Big Brother, this is out and out Stalinist era totalitarian state control. Not even the Department of Homeland Security in the US is this scary. THIS GROSS INVASION OF PRIVACY NEEDS TO BE FOUGHT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. read full story / add a comment
