Suicide bomber kills 11 in Jerusalem A Palestinian has killed 11 people and injured at least 49 after he blew himself up on a crowded bus in Jerusalem in the first suicide bombing in Israel since the start of a general election campaign. The US state dept. is to ask about 50 countries for 'contributions' in the event of a war in Iraq. Although the list of countries who are to be asked has not been published, a spokesman for the Canadian government has said that the US state dept. has sounded the proposal out with them already.
