This St David's Day, why is Welsh Labour trying to decolonise Wales from Welsh people? Its vision of an 'anti-racist' Wales involves conjuring up an entirely fictitious history of multi-ethnic diversity.

The position as I understand it of the Shellto Sea (from reading newspaper, listening to radio, watching television and following the debate on this website) is that they want NO gaspipe line or refinary to be constructed.
That position appears uncompromising. read full story / add a comment

Some do not want to remember those who died during WW1 while fighting in the British Army. But it should be remembered that many of them were economic conscripts and many others were duped into joining the BA by John Redmond.

Remember all of those who fell, be they Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English, Turkish, French, German Austrians, Russians or Anzacs.

The cultural significance of Stan Tookie Williams alone is huge, even if I believed in the death penalty (which I don't) I would let this man live out his years.

His anti-gang work during his 26 1/2 years in prison has been huge, for this reason alone I would be comfortable paroling him now (releasing him).

As it stands he is set to be executed on the 13th of December... read full story / add a comment

The Danish civil disobedient, Ulla Røder, has written a summary of events in Denmark, including the delivery of a declaration of support for the Pitstop Ploughshares activists to the Irish embassy in Denmark.

Ulla herself will be in court in Denmark this week for the conclusion of a case against her and four other activists who last November held a demonstration in the Danish parliament against Denmark’s continued participation in the war in Iraq. read full story / add a comment
