Any electrician knows that Lego bricks are genderless, not 'heteronormative', because each can 'mate' with any other. Perhaps Science Museum staff should study to be electricians and actually make themselves useful.

Any parent can currently withdraw their child from school if they're unhappy. Labour's Schools Bill ends that right for many, giving local authorities a veto. That's why all parents should protest against this state power grab.

Two British witnesses described how an Israeli soldier killed their child guide, 13-year-old Bahaa Albahish, in Nablus with a single shot to the chest. "We were walking down the street, four internationals and Bahaa, and there had been some youths throwing stones at an Israeli patrol made up of a tank and an armoured personnel carrier," said Ewa Jasiewicz, 24, a volunteer with the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement. "The incident had calmed down and it did not seem to be a threatening situation. Suddenly an armoured vehicle appeared around the corner and stopped. We stood at the side of the street and a single shot rang out." "I think it was from an M-16, not the heavy machinegun mounted on top. I felt the bullet near me. I looked around and saw Bahaa bleeding from the chest. Soon blood was bubbling from his mouth and he was dead within minutes." The read full story / add a comment

youŽll never guess where I am. But IŽll give you a clue, a group of people just walked by carrying big drums and white flags with red crosses in the middle. You guys first contacted me back in 1995 with a big brown envelope inside I remember was the Presbyterian Church in IRelands response to the Peace process documentation and a copy of your 300 anniversary brochure. You sent it to Rehobeth23 in Dublin. I loved the photo of the native american indian with the sash in Canada. That really got me thinking. Now its well known that you guys have very a different approach to Reclaim the Streets! but sure there you go. You might have in your day jobs seen videos of 1998 when the striking Liverpool dockers march joined RTS in Trafalgar Square making a celebration of in excess of 20,000 people. HI LADS! now we all remember a day back in 1979 when there were no cars on the streets of Dublin it was when the Pope came, lovely man the pope. He is on what we in the know call the white block of pacifists and religious people. Though occasionally he is on other blocks too. When he prayed against human genetics with the Imam of Damascus a while back he was on he green block as well. Do ou see how it works? You are the blue block. Because you wear blue. Now we donŽt call you blue block everywhere. Becuase in some places you donŽt wear blue. Back to the Phoenix park, I went for a pee behind a tree (I was sent by the mammy, and it was before my first communion so I donŽŽt think it was a mortal) read full story / add a comment
