I was just wondering why it takes the IMC collective so long to update the frontpage of the site. I would imagine new stories could put put up in minutes and each doesn't exactly have to be massive. I would advice doing this as otherwise the site looks ill-used and out of date. But otherwise a big well done! read full story / add a comment

Many ...believe in evolution for the simple reason that they think science has proven it to be a `fact' and, therefore, it must be accepted... In recent years, a great many people...having finally been persuaded to make a real examination of the problem of evolution, have become convinced of its fallacy and are now convinced anti-evolutionists." -- Henry Morris, former evolutionist. read full story / add a comment

The Gardai as part of their ongoing nightmare in dealing with RTS aftermath yesterday used a search warrant to secure a copy of footage shot by an RTE interactive crew at RTS. This is seperate footage from the Indymedia Footage supplied to the news programmes and as far as I know from having observed what the crew filmed on the day is a pretty complete record of events from Burgh Quay onwards. read full story / add a comment

The cases of at least 7 of those arrested on the recent Reclaim the streets protest were heard on Monday morning in the Bridewell court in Dublin. In addition at least 2 cases were heard last Friday. All of the cases were adjourned for the following dates. 5 cases will be heard on Monday July 1st, 1 case will be heard on Tuesday July 2nd and 2 cases will be heard on Friday July 5th.
