J. Stephen Cleghorn of Military Families Speak Out - www.mfso.org - will speak on opposition to the Iraqi occupation amongst civilians & army at a public meeting 7.30pm Weds 18 February in Liberty Hall, Dublin.

Brief Bio
Dr. Cleghorn has been a peace activist throughout his life, beginning with organizing against the Vietnam war while in college in 1970, drafted into the US Army in 1971 as a conscientious objector and later being court martialed for protesting the war. He is currently active with Military Families Speak Out in opposing the US occupation of Iraq. Dr. Cleghorn’s father was a 20-year career Army officer, as is his stepson who is in the 17th year of an Army career and is currently deployed to Iraq.
