The weekly picket of Mill Street Garda Station in Galway Calls Women and Men to Join Us and Speak Out. Women, children and men have picketed the Garda station from 1-2pm every Wednesday for almost one year now, beginning with the demand that the Irish State's security forces refuse to serve warmongers at Shannon.
It has turned into much more as we've met or been joined by women and men seeking asylum, who have to report to Mill Street before deportation. Or the women and men who have called out to us to report on the mic how they've been harassed and assaulted by police as they are arrested and hauled into the station.
