Give Asylum Seekers the right to stay and work- End deportations.

Many Asylum Seekers from around Ireland face deportation by the Irish state. Last year six mass deportations along with individual deportations took place to unsafe, war torn and corrupt countries were lives are in danger. Israeli sodiers have invaded the West Bank Town of Jerhico and have murdered a prison guard during an attack on the jail. They are trying to seize PFLP Leaderr Ahmed Saadat who is alleged to have assassinated an Israeli cabinet minister. Mr Saadat is also normally guarded by British and US monitors but they were mysteriously withdrawn before the attack. Fuelling rumours of British and US complicity in the Israeli attack.

Na Gaeil Óga want to use the goodwill towards the Irish-language in Ireland during Seachtain na Gaeilge, 4-17 March to develop a new predictive text service on mobile phones in Irish. They also want an option to have Irish as a user on all mobile phones in Ireland, i.e. Phonebook nó Eolaire Gutháin/fóin.

The recital by Trio Echnaton in the Pepper Canister Church, Upper Mount Street, Dublin, was presented by the Association of Music Lovers and the Goethe-Institute, Dublin, assisted by the Arts Council’s Small Festivals and Events Scheme. Secular Britain was shocked last weekend when Prime Minister Tony Blair said that God would be his judge over the war in Iraq. Similarly, President George W. Bush has often used God to justify the war on terror as a religiously blessed and righteous campaign against "evil doers." Predictably, those who oppose the war view themselves as secular progressives untainted by religious fundamentalism and the madness it produces.
