Indications are that there will be a considerable change in the make up of the city council in Galway. Outgoing were 5 FF, 4 PD, 4 FG, 2 Lab. Based on tallies, incoming looks like 3-4 Lab, 2 SF, 1 Green (maybe), 1 Ind, 2 FF, 3 PD, 2-3 FG. Tokie Laotan (see earlier report on racist harassment of this candidate) polled a respectable 311 votes —about half of what is needed for a seat read full story / add a comment
