She visited the Wall, a refugee camp, the Palestinian TUC and medical facilities in Israel and the West Bank. • Israeli doctor who entered Jenin as part of the invading Israeli Forces
• Palestinian trade unionists
• Israeli medics providing voluntary health support to Palestinian citizens of Israel

Groundbreaking documentary "About Baghdad" will be screened in Wynn's Hotel this Friday at 7pm in an event organised by the Irish Anti-War Movement.

Rania Masri - one of the film producers - will be available to discuss her experiences in Baghdad and answers questions about the film.

The screening is free of charge - but we would like to contribute to the cost of its production (as well as the cost of room hire) so please bring along a donation if you can afford to do so.

Government policy seems to boil down to a mish-mash of ideas about competition, privatisation - and really a dash of laissez-faire mentality about public services. However there seems to be a bit of old-fashioned loyalty to state enterprise and social policy generally. Have the PDs already produced - through their ally Charlie McCreevy - an irreversible and seismic shift in public policy.
