Left-wing activists in Britain are less likely to work with their political opponents and more likely to think that those who think differently have been misled, a study has found. Leftists are intolerant? Who knew.

just a coincidence that some of the same players are in 9:11 and everything from the Bay of Pigs to Operation Northwoods to LBJ to the Miami 5 to JFK's assassination to the Venezuelan Coup to Jeb Bush and the election fraud to Florida Flight Schools to Iran-Contra to BCCI all have Florida connections? read full story / add a comment

Are the pigs accountable to no one? Just seen an unmarked red pig car flying up the wrong side of the road on Parnell Street just past Moore Street (It was going so fast that I couldn't even see what make of car that it was!). What was worse was that this section of Parnell Street is a 'segregated' roadway like O'Connell Street there is a concrete traffic island seperating both sides of the road so there was nowhere for oncoming traffic or pedestrians to go. Can anything be done about this kind of blatant abuse of the road traffic laws? Or is it yet again a case of one law for the law and another law for the rest of us? read full story / add a comment
national / miscellaneous / news report Monday July 29, 2002 19:27 by A Serbian dissident
This is absolutely shocking stuff and whatever we might think of Milosevic, and also of the authors of this article (the Emperor's Clothes), who have often been accused, perhaps quite rightly of being too pro-Serbian and therefore too biased in that regard, what is going on in Kosovo is cold-blooded and calculated murder on the part of the occupying NATO force in Kosovo. Its time for the western world, especially Ireland, with your once proud history of neutrality that alas is being eroded by allowing USAF planes to refuel at Shannon, and to overfly Irish airspace to open up your eyes and realise what NATO, and militarism and imperialism generally are doing to our world. That's why I appeal to you to again show your courage and to give the EU militarist, imperialist agent of capitalism the EU Rapid reaction Force the 2 fingers by again voting NO to Nice 2. read full story / add a comment

SCOTT RITTER is not someone we would normally have much time for. He is a member of President George W Bush's Republican Party and was at the centre of US operations against Iraq during the 1990s. Yet in a packed meeting at the Houses of Parliament in London last week Ritter demolished the justification for the new war that Bush is planning against Iraq. read full story / add a comment

national / miscellaneous / news report Sunday July 28, 2002 23:50 by Paul Kinsella
Here is more scary stuff coming from the EU that I came across on the Internet. This certainly should give us all real case for concern. Coz if they're right about what they're saying, and having carefully read and re-read this article 4 times, I can't dispute what they're saying, then if we don't reject this Nice Treaty again this time around then we're on the slippery slope to a militaristic EU dictatorship. This should galvinise all of us in our various Anti-Nice campaigns to go all out and defeat Nice yet again this time round. Coz our civil liberties and our futures are at stake. read full story / add a comment

Hello Irlande, My name is Shamir Ariz and I am an Iraqi exile just recently arrived in your country. As you can see I am an Iraqi exile and therefore I am bitterly opposed to the brutal and autocratic regime of Saddam Hussein. However I know that the US and British plan to invade our country is just an imperialist exercise to gain control of our country's oil reserves that will be an unmitigated disaster and will end in humiliation for Britain and US. Please I beg you to do everything in your power to stop this madness now! read full story / add a comment

Refueling Peace recently received a letter from the Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs in response to a letter sent by myself to the Minister some weeks ago. In it the Minister's Private Secretary explains why we're refueling US war planes at Shannon, why the so-called "war on terrorism" is legal and generally okay, and how our government feels about Iraq. read full story / add a comment
