Part of the programme for the Debt and Development Coalition, which is EU

Todays issue of the Israeli liberal paper Haaretz carries an article on the 'Road map' based on leaked minutes of a meeting between Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas and Hamas, Islamic Jihad and the Popular and Democratic Fronts. On June 3rd I received a letter from Aer Rianta's lawyers (Aurthur Cox) threatening me with imprisonment if I attend further demos at Shannon airport. Shortly afterwards, Commandant Ed Horgan and fellow planespotter and peacecamper Conor Cregan received identical threats.

see my reply to this at.

this week I got another letter, not answering my questions but repeating over and over the same threat. HERE is my reply which I will hand deliver to Aurthur Cox's offices tomorrow during Grassroots.

Three of the anti-war protesters arrested outside the city hall in Belfast on the 8th of April had to turn up in court again. Tomas' next date will be the 24th of July, even though he doesn't have to turn up himself- so far he had to come across the water from England for every hearing in court. Colette and Lucas both got adjourned to the 7th of August- the same date as some of the other protesters arrested that day. Today only two supporters made it on time, maybe we have some more next time? (Meeting outside the court at 10am). read full story / add a comment

Will T.V. again turn its eyes to Iraq as the "rebuild" begins. Will the Massive equipment imported to dig founations and raise fallen walls ( . . . or screens), be advertised to distract public attention from reality (lack of) T.V. or will they gear up focus on impending war in Iran as public discontent thrives - encouraged under spotlights. The following is a short simple unsubstansiatable accusation I fear to be true and hope to be false. read full story / add a comment
