A Public meeting will be taking place this Thursday in the Abberley Court Hotel, Tallaght, 8PM.

The Speaker will be Socialist Party Councillor for Talalght Central Ward, Mick Murphy, who was the first to expose this scandal, and along with his fellow party member, Socialist Party TD Joe Higgins, have spearheaded the campaign for justice for the Tursh workers.

So if you want to get a concise low down as to what has happened in relation to GAMA construction and its mistreatment of its workers, feel free to come along.

This scandal has shown another ugly side to the Capitalist system, and the link between it and Capitalism will also be discussed.

Hope to see you there. read full story / add a comment

supporting the reunification of these mothers and children.

Saturday April 16th.
Meet at Burgess park (near Golden Island shopping centre, free parking) at 12:00

It is very important to have a large turnout. Please come and bring your

A g 8 mobilising network was set up from the Making poverty history –making war history meeting last week in the ATGWU hall. The network is focused on mobilising for the protests at the g8 summit in Scotland (see below some of the actions) and other related events such as the Make Poverty History rally in Ireland. We hope to organise public meetings, fundraisers, video showings etc to raise awareness of the g8 and issues around poverty, war and corporate greed. We want to unite and work with all groups and individuals who agree with those simple aims. read full story / add a comment
