It is reported that at least seven people have been killed and another 20 wounded in an attack on an Israeli bus near a Jewish settlement in the West Bank. Ambulance workers said Palestinian gunmen set off a roadside bomb alongside the bus - which was travelling from Tel Aviv - at the entrance to the settlement. It is reported they then opened fire on the bus and other passing vehicles. read full story / add a comment

You all know the geenspace on Dame Street - across from The Olympia. Apparently "City council spokesmen said something had to be done to mask the unsightly gable- end of the 18th century Sick and Indigent Roomkeepers Society building which overlooked the public garden."
